Smart cities start with “why”. Truly smart cities have an established plan for what they want to achieve; and they use technology as the enabler for the changes they want to effect, rather than the reason for change itself.

Where

The smart city conversation has moved beyond the metropolis, and now relates to suburbs, neighbourhoods and towns as much as our biggest cities. We now understand that there’s as much work to be done at the micro level, as well as the macro level.
