The Role

Due to continued success this business has a need for a new OHS & Compliance Manager who will develop, implement and maintain strategic and comprehensive OHSE Management Systems that are compliant with the Victorian Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004.

Responsibilities

– Developing OHSE tools, checklists, template audits and reporting systems.
– Maintaining, coordinating, reviewing and implementing staff training.
– Employee return to work involvement.
– Test and tag of equipment.
– SWMS
– Sub-contractor and company compliance.

Qualification / Skills required

– Minimum Cert IV in Occupational Health & Safety.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– A thorough understanding of the OHS Act 2004, OHS Regulations and Environment Protection Act.
– Initiative and ability to work autonomously.
– Be comfortable with coaching and mentoring other members of the management team, staff, supervisors,
forepersons and trades.
– Computer literacy is essential, preferably with experience of Procore and SignOnSite.

Salary Range (optional) $90,000 – $110,000
