AIPM – Sustainable Project Management – What’s Different? Webinar

Whether you believe in climate change or not, sustainability is a hot topic. Most of the focus is on how physical products are made and used. Both individuals and organisations are bombarded with requests to reduce, reuse, recycle, and repurpose everything from old computers to wilted lettuce.
Because of this, when people hear about sustainable project management, they usually think first of product-related issues like design for reuse or compostable packaging. But what about the projects themselves? Are there ways to make our projects more sustainable?
In this webinar, Bill Duncan will discuss the nine key characteristics of a sustainable project manager and how they affect the practice of project management. He will also review the idea of developing a sustainability management plan to identify and address the impacts (positive and negative) that your project may have on society and our planet.
