Free Construction Courses

About the courses
The Victorian Government is offering free courses to help people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This could be your opportunity to re-skill and find work in the construction industry.

If you’re looking to move into the industry, the training is available now. It’s also available to people already working in construction who want to improve their skills and job opportunities.

There are no fees, and participants will be exempt from the usual eligibility criteria. But to manage demand, participants can only do one course.

The courses are available until 30th June 2023. They will be delivered in partnership with key employers and industry bodies to meet the skills required for Victoria’s major infrastructure projects.
