The only national event for design, manufacture and construction of Offsite timber and mass wood buildings.
The combination of Timber and Technology is creating a powerful transformation in construction methods for Offsite Construction. We are witnessing a fast-increasing volume of major timber and wood buildings being completed, and many more under construction.
A new generation of building design and construction practice is utilising offsite technologies with engineered wood that offers tangible benefits. It’s being called the ‘new concrete’.
Timber Offsite Construction is the only national event for design, manufacture and construction of offsite timber and mass wood buildings, offering wide-ranging information and providing a ‘one-stop-shop’ to meet and converse with suppliers.
Sessions program
The sessions program includes many of the world’s leading experts with award-winning architects, international and local engineers, major building companies, and prominent suppliers to offsite construction markets.
Keynote speakers from USA, Canada, UK and Asia will reveal the latest advancements in global technology and recent initiatives emerging in design, construction and manufacturing.
Speaker program topics will provide an information pathway for understanding the processes required in offsite timber construction, encompassing building design, project management, software and digital technologies, codes and regulations, engineered wood, panelised building systems, manufacturing and prefabrication, and construction process models.
Panel sessions will explore examples of offsite timber building projects featuring the key participants in design, manufacture and construction, with audience discussion on the challenges faced and solutions developed for successful outcomes.
Who will attend
The event will attract over 300 delegates representing the full spectrum of building design, building construction, timber and engineered wood, manufacturing, and building materials supply.
The 2019 Delegate Survey approval ratings for program sessions ranged from 70% to 91%, and the exhibition booth displays over 90%, reflecting the quality and relevance of the local and international organisations that participated.
